Can I apply for my child's admission online?
No. Ultimate College Ota does not operate an online admission portal. All admissions must be processed physically at the school. This allows us to meet every family personally and ensure the best fit for each child. Please visit us during our school visiting hours.
Is there an entrance exam for new students?
Yes, except for Nursery 1 entrants. All other students sit a brief screening assessment to help us place them in the most appropriate class. The assessment is not a barrier — it is simply for placement purposes. Results are usually provided on the same day.
When is admission open?
Admissions at Ultimate College Ota are open year-round, but the primary intake period is at the beginning of each academic session (September). We also accept mid-session transfers when spaces are available. Visit us to confirm current space availability for your desired class level.
How long does the admission process take?
The entire process — from collecting the form to receiving your admission letter — can be completed in a single visit if you come with all required documents. In most cases, this takes between 1 to 3 hours depending on the number of applicants on that day. Your child could begin school within the same week!
Are there scholarships available?
We occasionally offer merit-based scholarship opportunities to exceptionally talented students in academics, sports, or other areas. Please discuss scholarship eligibility with our admissions officer during your visit. Availability depends on the current academic session and available positions.
Can my child transfer from another school mid-session?
Yes! We welcome transfer students at any point in the academic year, subject to space availability in the relevant class. Transfer students must provide a transfer letter from their previous school, their most recent report card, and all other standard admission documents.
What payment options are available for school fees?
School fees are collected per term (3 terms per session). We accept cash and bank transfers. In cases of financial hardship, instalment payment plans may be arranged — please speak discreetly with the school bursar during your visit to discuss available options.
What is the student-to-teacher ratio?
We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure each child receives adequate personal attention. Nursery classes have a maximum of 15 students per teacher, primary classes 25 students, and secondary classes 30 students. This ensures effective teaching and personalised care for every learner.
